PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From Vienna
City train S7 to Petronell Carnuntum, Bad Deutsch-Altenburg or the Hainburg Culture Factory. Alternatively by ÖBB train on SAT/SUN/HOLIDAYS via Bruck/Leitha or THU-SUN/HOLIDAYS via Marchegg main railway station.
From Eisenstadt/Neusiedler See
Regional train via Neusiedl/See to Bruck/Leitha. Then take the bus from the railway station in Bruck/Leitha to Petronell-Carnuntum main square (MON-FRI) or the shuttle bus (SAT/SUN/HOLIDAYS).
From Bratislava
On THU-SUN by train via Marchegg station (four shuttle buses from Marchegg station to Schloss Hof and then on to Petronell-Carnuntum). Alternatively by regional bus MHD No. 901 to Hainburg a.d. Donau.

Shuttle Bus to the Exhibition of Lower Austria 2011
During the Exhibition of Lower Austria 2011 a shuttle bus will operate between the exhibition sites Petronell-Carnuntum, Bad Deutsch-Altenburg, Hainburg a.d. Donau to offer visitors stress-free, comfortable, low-priced travel to and from exhibition sites. Specially marked, air-conditioned vehicles which are wheelchair accessible will be used for this service. The shuttle bus will operate as a scheduled service with regular arrival and departure times.
Please note that groups must book this service in advance by calling + 43 (0)2163-3377-799. Bookings can only be made in combination with a booking for the exhibition and seat availability is not guaranteed. As it is a scheduled service, there may be strong demand so that some passengers will occasionally have to stand. Passengers who come late will not be transported.
The shuttle service is very attractively priced and departure times are coordinated with the railway timetable.
Shuttle Bus Service Between The Exhibition Sites
Shuttle buses run daily between the Petronell Open Air Museum, Museum Carnuntinum and the Hainburg Culture Factory:
MON-WED every hour
THU-SUN/HOLIDAYS every 30 minutes
The shuttle bus service will also call at the Hainburg Culture Factory and Petronell-Carnuntum railway stations.
Shuttle Bus 1
Between Bruck an der Leitha – Petronell-Carnuntum SAT/SUN/HOLIDAYS two trips in each direction (1x morning, 1x afternoon). From Monday to Friday the fares of the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR) will apply on the 574 and 575 bus routes.
Shuttle Bus 2
From Marchegg railway station to Schloss Hof and Bad Deutsch-Altenburg and then on to Petronell-Carnuntum: THU-SUN/HOLIDAYS every two hours four times in each direction.
